How to Delete Your Account
This guide will walk you through the process of permanently deleting your iDressup account and all associated data.
Important: This Action is Permanent
Once you delete your account, this action cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed from our systems.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Personal Information: Your email address, nickname, avatar, bio, and all profile information.
- Artworks: All artworks and designs you've created and shared on iDressup.
- Social Links: All connections to your social media accounts.
- Activity History: Your level, experience points, and achievement records.
- Comments & Interactions: All comments you've posted and likes you've given.
- Login Devices: Records of all devices you've used to access your account.
Before You Delete
We recommend downloading or backing up any artworks or data you wish to keep before proceeding with account deletion. Once deleted, we cannot recover your data.
Step-by-Step Deletion Process
Make sure you're logged in to the account you wish to delete.
Click on your avatar in the top-right corner and select 'Profile' from the dropdown menu.
Click the edit (pencil) icon on your profile page to open the 'Edit Profile' modal.
At the bottom-left corner of the Edit Profile modal, you'll find a gray 'Delete Account' link. Click on it.
Carefully read the warning about what data will be deleted. Make sure you understand this action is permanent.
Click the 'Send Confirmation Email' button. We'll send a confirmation link to your registered email address.
Open your email inbox and find the email from iDressup with the subject 'Confirm Account Deletion'.
Click the confirmation link in the email. This link is valid for 24 hours.
You'll be taken to a final confirmation page. Click 'Permanently Delete Account' to complete the process.
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. You'll be automatically logged out.
Processing Time
After you confirm the deletion, your account will be marked for deletion immediately. Complete data removal from our systems may take up to 30 days. During this period, you cannot recover your account.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once you confirm the deletion via email, we begin the permanent removal process. We recommend carefully considering this decision before proceeding.
What if I didn't receive the confirmation email?
Please check your spam/junk folder. If you still don't see it after 10 minutes, you can request another confirmation email. Make sure your email address is correct in your account settings.
Can I delete my account without email confirmation?
No. Email confirmation is required for security purposes to prevent unauthorized account deletion. This ensures that only you can delete your account.
Will my artworks be deleted from other users' views?
Yes. All your artworks will be completely removed from the platform. Other users will no longer be able to view, like, or comment on them.
Can I create a new account with the same email later?
Yes. After your account is deleted, you can register a new account using the same email address. However, all your previous data (artworks, level, etc.) will not be recoverable.
Do you keep any of my data after deletion?
We permanently delete all your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may retain anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes, but this data cannot be linked back to you.
What if I change my mind after clicking the confirmation link?
Once you click the confirmation link in the email, the deletion process begins immediately and cannot be stopped. Please make sure you're certain before clicking the link.

If you're considering deleting your account due to specific concerns, you might want to explore these alternatives:
- Privacy Concerns: Review and adjust your privacy settings in your account settings.
- Too Many Notifications: You can customize notification preferences instead of deleting your account.
- Taking a Break: Consider simply logging out instead of permanently deleting your account. Your data will remain safe until you return.
